www.ncfgiving.com. Position Overview The Operations Associate
provides support to the Marketing & Offerings (M&O) department,
contributing to a wide range of assignments across multiple
functional areas, including M&O Operations, Offerings, Brand &
Experience, Marketing, and Partnerships & Events. This role
functions as a versatile resource, delivering operational,
administrative, and project coordination aligned with the specific
requirements of each initiative. This role serves as a pivotal
resource, driving operational excellence, and enhancing the overall
efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing & Offerings team.
This position is hybrid based out of the office in Alpharetta, GA,
and includes in-office work approximately five times a month.
Reports to: Manager, M&O Operations Management/Supervision:
None Duties and Responsibilities M&O Initiative Supports
Marketing & Offerings initiatives as directed by the Operations
Manager, Operations VP, and Partnerships & Events VP. Manages
multiple assignments simultaneously, typically 2-3 at a time, with
strong organization and follow-through. Participates with other
team members in adding strategic value to conversations about
solutions, approaches, ideas, and efficiencies of our work.
Supports M&O projects by performing core project management
activities as needed, such as developing project plans,
coordinating project calls, creating document repositories, and
establishing foundational project management processes. Contributes
to the strategic planning of milestones and dependencies for each
assignment to ensure the work is successfully executed on time.
Partnership & Events Support The Operations Associate will support
the Partnerships & Events team in planning and producing NCF events
on an as-assigned basis, depending on departmental priorities and
capacity availability. This could include working on digital and
print materials, as well as web, presentations, event collateral,
and internal communications. They could also assist with the
production of live events, webinars, and conference sponsorships.
Event Marketing Activation Assists in managing event marketing
plans. Assists with the management of published marketing and
communication materials on the public website, HR, and the Loop
(intranet). Assists with internal communications to staff (e.g.,
Loop posting, sending Outlook invites). Event Administration Tracks
tasks and project timelines, ensuring nothing falls through the
cracks. Assists the team with event production needs, including
registration management, budget tracking, assembling handouts, and
preparing materials for shipments. Provides on-site event support
as needed to execute the event. Assists with post-event activities
such as lead distribution, survey reporting, and scheduling debrief
meetings. Assists with vendor communications including hotels,
caterers, entertainment, speakers, rentals, AV, and florists.
Handles administrative tasks as needed including event budget
tracking and working with accounting to get vendors paid. Other
Duties and Responsibilities Attends departmental meetings as
needed. Attends networking meetings and conferences as requested.
Participates in or facilitates ad hoc collaboration sessions with
stakeholders as requested. Assists with other assignments and tasks

Education A bachelor's degree is required; or Five years of
relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree is ok.
Experience A minimum of 1-2 years of project coordination
experience required. Must have experience working effectively in
cross-functional teams. Experience managing projects on a
creative/marketing team is a plus. Experience producing event
marketing and creative is a plus. Experience using cloud-based
programs to manage registration, polling and surveys is a plus.
Knowledge Base Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications
(especially Excel and PowerPoint). Design software skills (e.g.,
InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). Working knowledge of
event registration platforms and Marketing Cloud is a plus. Proven
aptitude for "real time" problem diagnosis and solving. Working
knowledge of charitable, non-profit, foundation, and/or donor
related subject matters. Able to perform duties independently.
