We create products for consumers, retailers, and foodservice customers around the globe.The marination position is reponsible for grinding and flaking of frozen and fresh chicken for the production of our sausage. Usually works five to six days a week; overtime may be required based on production needs.We offer:Competitive Pay & Overtime.Attendance BonusExcellent Benefits & 401k OptionsPaid Holidays & Paid Time OffPayActiv (ACCESS PAY BEFORE PAYDAY)Receive instant access to your earned wages and greater flexibility to pay your bills on your scheduleand more!Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSelects product type (fresh or frozen chicken) and flakes or grinds product.Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.Teamwork isessential in this position.Required to breakdown boxes and maintain good housekeeping practices.Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.Maintains clean and safe working environment.Participates in Company and department safety programs.Minimum EducationHigh School or equivalent not required but beneficial.Experience PreferredWorked a minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years preferred, but not required.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsWhen in a plant environment:Positon is active.Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors.May be exposed to temperatures of 50degrees to 70degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.May be exposed toall chemicals used in a foodprocessing facility.Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.Able to stand for several hours.Work requireslifting (up to 70 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing vmags.Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
