Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta -is part of the Guardian Pharmacy Services network and prides itself on its customer service. Each team member plays an integral part in the success of the pharmacy.The Vaccinator administers vaccinations to the patients and residents in the Long-Term Care communities we serve. This position ensures high quality vaccination through education regarding vaccine storage and handling, administration, billing, documentation, and vaccine safety.****TEMPORARY POSITION ****PART -TIME CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED AS WELLAttributes Required: -

    Essential Job Functions (include the following): -
    • Screens vaccine recipients pre-vaccine for potential concerns as identified by facility guidelines
    • Educates recipient and administers vaccine as indicated
    • Documents vaccine administration using appropriate medical record system. Monitors pre and post vaccination for potential side effects and refers for additional assessment/care as indicated.
    • Collaborates effectively with all disciplines and levels of care regarding patient care.
    • Ensures compliance with various Isolation Precautions and Infection Control Guidelines
    • Supports vaccine administration sites by responding to issues, questions, and ensuring training, as needed, for new products or changes to products.

      Education and/or Certifications -
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Appropriate clinical licensure/certification as determined by state regulations.
        Skills and Qualifications: -
        • 1+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
        • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
        • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
        • Great attention to detail and accuracy
        • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
        • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
          Work Environment:
          • Requires up to 100% travel by ground
          • Ability to work flexible hours
