Job Description:
Position Summary: The Worker's Compensation Sales Associate
(WCSA) will provide concierge services to potential referral
sources, including but not limited to, employers, self-insured
companies, brokers, adjusters, nurse case managers, third party
administrators, and any other potential referral sources, for the
enterprise-wide worker's compensation line of business. In this
role, the WCSA will call on and interact regularly with potential
referral sources who need to make referrals or who seek out the
WCSA to secure information on worker's compensation claimants being
treated at affiliated medical practices managed under the ProCo
management services organization. The WCSA will report to the
Director of Sales and collaborate regularly with providers and
other team members throughout the enterprise, with special
attention focused on collaboration with the in-house Worker's
Compensation Coordinators, to ensure referrals are handled
expeditiously and information is shared timely and in a
professional manner. The WCSA will often be the first
point-of-contact and the "face" of the AICA Worker's Compensation
service line and brand. Position Duties: As an M&K Marketing
team member representing the AICA brand, pursue new worker's
compensation patient referrals from various potential referral
sources. Assist, when needed, the in-house Worker's Compensation
Coordinators to secure the necessary information for the worker's
compensation claimant to be scheduled and seen. Facilitate
communication between AICA providers and team members with (
employers. carriers,TPA's, adjusters, and case managers. Follow-up
with adjusters, case managers, and/or the referring entity on all
missed worker's compensation patient appointments. Facilitate
submission of medical records to employers, carriers,TPA's,
adjusters, and case managers when necessary, promoting and
utilizing ProCo software platforms as they are designed and
implemented, including but not limited to ProCo Docs. Address and
take appropriate action with employers, risk managers, claims
management, adjusters and nurse case managers and attorneysto
resolve all questions, concerns, and needs relating to worker's
compensation patient issues. Maintain a positive working
relationship with employers, carriers, TPA's, adjusters, and case
managers. Act as an ambassador for the AICA Worker's compensation
brand. Engage effective in-the-field marketing and sales techniques
to brand AICA as the go-to organization for the effective
management of work-related injuries. Collaborate with all AICA team
members and consultants involved in the Worker's Compensation
service line. Position Expectations To perform the position
successfully, an individual is expected to: Create and maintain a
positive and robust working relationship with all potential
worker's compensation referral sources. Secure from a variety of
sources referrals for the care and medical management of worker's
compensation claimants. Collaborate with AICA providers, practice
managers, case managers, and corporate co-workers such as medical
records, billing/coding/collections, Worker's Compensation
Coordinators, etc., who are involved in the management of
work-related injuries for claimants referred to AICA. Be a worker's
compensation ambassador and source of information for the
enterprise and affiliated medical practices. Work Smart; Be Smart
Multi-task to be sure all daily work output is completed and
accurate. Remain abreast of all Georgia worker's compensation
rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices. Be
aware of and attend worker's compensation specific marketing
lunches, dinners, events, seminars, presentations, and state and
regional conferences upon approval of leadership. Be solutions
oriented with a "Can Do' Attitude. Proficient in the use of all
enterprise software platforms, including but not limited to,
NextGen, eCM, ProCo Docs, Microsoft Outlook, Smartsheet's, etc. Be
aware of and consistently apply HIPAA guidelines and rules
governing patient privacy and confidentiality. Positively impact
the worker's compensation service line through exceptional and
consistent performance and productivity in the areas of Sales and
Marketing. Position Metrics: The execution of the position is
quantifiably measured by the following:KPI to be created for these
unique sales position. Position Requirements: REQUIRED: High School
Diploma PREFERRED: Advanced college level courses or degree a plus
REQUIRED: 3+ years of experience in marketing to the worker's
compensation industry with a robust circle of influence in the
industry. MISC: Strong verbal and written communication skills;
working knowledge of Worker's Compensation Best Practices and state
rules and guidelines. Position Miscellaneous: Frequent sitting,
driving, and use of telephone. Outside sales position that will
require exposure to the elements.Infrequent lifting floor to
overhead of 15 pounds or less.Dependable personal transportation
required.Professional presentation and business attire required,
Dress for Success!Position requiring approximately 40-45 hours of
work each week with some extended hours from time to time to
complete work or attend functions.Occasional out-of-town travel to
attend seminars or conferences with some requiring overnight
stay.Full-time, Hourly, Exempt position with KPI opportunity.Must
qualify to work and receive wages in the United StatesBi-lingual
