Job Description:
Overview:WuXi AppTec is a leading global pharmaceutical, medical
device open-access capability and technology platform company with
global operations. We have an opening in our Staging Department for
an Associate Sample Coordinator. Anticipated hours for this
position are Mon-Fri, Standard Business.Responsibilities:
Review and assign Sample Testing
Instructions (STI)Verify & review client paperwork submitted with
samplesReceive client samples & originate worksheets for sample
testingEnsure samples are delivered to the laboratory in a timely
mannerMaintain proper storage requirements for samplesAct as back
up for site courierQualifications:Experience / Education
High School Diploma or equivalentMust
have valid drivers license and maintain good driving
recordKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Thorough understanding of Good
Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing PracticesAbility to
work in a team environment and independently as requiredMust be
able to multi-task and prioritize workloadProficient in oral &
written communication skillsNeed to be able to read, write and
understand English Must have experience working with computer
programs such as database systems or LIMS.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in an
environment with variable noise levels. Must be able to work in lab
setting with exposure to biohazards / chemicals Must be able to
wear appropriate PPEAbility to stand / sit / walk for long periods
of time Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reachAbility to push /
pull 30 lbs. routinely/ often / occasionallyAbility to identify and
distinguish colorsMust be able to perform activities with
repetitive motionsWill occasionally be needed as backup for
Saturday shift (limited and usually planned in advance). Equal
