Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinate all grounds activities as they relate to maintenance and remodeling of all properties of
WellStar Health System. Ability to analyze time cards, Set goals for Employees, and complete yearly reviews.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Horticulture degree a plus or equivalent experience
managing in a related field.

Required Minimum Certification: n/a
Required Minimum Experience: Five or more year's active experience in horticulture and grounds maintenance. Five
or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Required Minimum Skills: Good verbal communications skills. Ability to analyze, organize and delegate. Good math
skills required to assist in preparing department budgets and estimates for new construction or repairs and
maintenance required. Ability to understand machinery and techniques to insure safe, sanitary and effective operation
of grounds equipment and facilities. Ability to work to standards and regulations set by applicable local, state, and
federal codes and agencies. Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate proper use of chemicals. Ability to read and
implement landscape plans. Able to work in all weather.
