Job Description:
Responsibilities
The Lead Environmental Services Technician is responsible for
carrying out set plans and leading department activities such as
huddles and coordination of labor during their shift to ensure all
hospital areas are safe, orderly and in sanitary condition in the
absence of the supervisor. The job may entail access, cleaning or
transporting of hazardous, pharmaceutical, chemo-therapy, chemical,
soiled or other regulated materials. Perform cleaning of public
areas, patient rooms, surgical suites, ancillary, administrative
offices, and physician areas to ensure a clean, safe and attractive
environment for staff, patients, physicians and visitors. This
position is exposed to hazardous materials and a variety of
infectious diseases.
