Job Description:

ResponsibilitiesProvides facilitation and negotiation leadership for the assigned contract category portfolio with the goal of attaining the optimal balance of quality, service, availability and value. Works closely with Value Analysis Team facilitators, buyers and key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction strategies and develop contracts based on WellStar Health System policy. Reviews assigned contract categories with the goal of attaining the best value decision. Ensures that all required approvals are obtained prior to contract finalization. Utilizes all available tools to gain market knowledge and to access best pricing of assigned categories. Works with key stakeholders to negotiate pricing and contracts for products and services based on assigned categories. Resolves problems associated with vendor relationships and contract renewals. Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to legal, risk, department directors, executive leaders and supplier executives as required.Qualificationsundefined
