• Advancement from withinResponsibilities - Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries
  • Advise customers about necessary services for routine maintenance
  • Help to identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or doing a visual inspection or road test
  • Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work orders for needed repairs
  • Prepare report orders showing time, cost, and labor estimates for service
  • Write brief descriptions of the customer's concerns on the repair order to help technicians locate the source of the problem.
  • Explain the work performed and the charges to the customer
  • Build strong relationships with customers
  • Provide training and support to other team members
  • Other duties may be assignedQualifications and Requirements - Service Advisor:
    • Experience preferred
    • A minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM Systems)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Knowledge of CDK, ADP, or Reynolds and Reynolds is not required but a plus
    • Professional appearance and work ethic
    • Must be self-motivated, with a goal-oriented ethic
    • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Good organizational and time-management skills
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
