Responsibilities The Charge Capture and Reconciliation Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of unit and areaspecific revenue capture and auditing of clinical services and procedures within revenue producing departments. TheCharge Capture and Reconciliation Manager will serve as a communication link between clinical and non-clinicalemployees as well as external contacts. The individual will serve in an educational and advisory capacity to thephysician practice coding staff, clinical staff and physicians as it relates to documentation, coding, and billingregulatory compliance to reflect services performed and to enhance revenue cycle operations. This individual willestablish and maintain an efficient and timely charge capture and reconciliation process while ensuring the accuracyand quality of coded and abstracted information. Management skills are required in the supervision of subordinatestaff Job Requirements: Required Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in health informationmanagement, management, business administration, health care, public health, finance, and/or other Allied Healthpreferred.Required Minimum Certification:Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)And Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)/ or Certified Coding Professional (CCP) Required.Required Minimum Experience:Minimum of five (5) years experience in healthcare required; including; ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, physicianpractice management, or reimbursement analysis Three (3) years of management/supervisory experience in ahealthcare setting preferred.
