Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

  • Greet patients & visitors upon entry to the facility
  • Answer phones; monitor faxes
  • Obtain medical records from outside facilities when necessary
  • Assign faxes/documents to patient charts in the electronic database
  • Enter/update patient data into the electronic database
  • Maintain patient logs and visitor logs
  • Makes contact with referral sources and potential patients for obtaining demographic information
  • Helps to coordinate the referral and intake process
  • Assists with contacting insurance company for benefits verification
  • Contacts patients to discuss their explanation of benefits and potential out-of-pocket costs
  • Generate daily referral/patient care reports
  • Monitoring/processing documents received via postal mail
  • Assists with contacting/scheduling patients for their appointments
  • Assists with weekly processing of invoices and bank depositsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
    • 1+ years of Experience with Benefits Verification
    • 1+ years of experience in a medical or insurance setting using phones and computers as the primary job tools
    • Ability - -to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance. -Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with scheduling patients
      • 1+ years of experience with explanation of benefits
      • Strong customer service background
      • Medical Terminology
