What does a great Sr. Certification Analyst do at Fiserv?

In this role, you will drive process and efficiency efforts across multiple certification teams. This position is responsible for managing the overall certification process. Review, analyze and coordinate project requirements with business units. Ensure compliance with industry association rules. Coordinate with network, operational and application point of contacts to ensure necessary equipment is ordered, installed and configuration setups are complete. Schedule, review and validate testing results with client (merchant, vendor and TPP).

This position is responsible for managing the overall certification process. Review, analyze and coordinate project requirements with business units. Ensure compliance with industry association rules. Coordinate with network, operational and application point of contacts to ensure necessary equipment is ordered, installed and configuration setups are complete. Schedule, review and validate testing results with client (merchant, vendor and TPP).
Specific duties include:

  • Provide support to our business channels and clients.
  • Determines accuracy and makes the necessary changes to each certification request in regards to the platform, message specifications, connectivity, industry, and features.  
  • Initiate internal requests for userid, password, data transmission, report GDG’s, logical line and port assignments, Network plans, change records.
  • Update and or validate all applicable test tables and applications to ensure testing and production data can be received and is processed correctly.
  • Coach client on authorization, settlement and report file format specifications and data communication interfaces.
  • Manage the distribution of test cards, test scripts, specifications and correspondence to clients.
  • Supply all the necessary testing tool documentation for client testing, certification and implementation.
  • Coordinates with the client and Fiserv personnel to schedule and conduct authorization and settlement testing.
  • Debugs authorization, settlement and communication protocol errors and message format. Instructs the client on proper correction.
  • Negotiate implementation roll out with client and all applicable internal areas and host go live call with client to ensure that the first production file and data are received and processed successfully.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in business highly preferred
  • Experience with defining and executing test strategy across a platform.
  • Minimum of five years experience of high level of competence with MS Office tools; primarily Excel and other productivity and analysis software
  • Flexibility to work after hours/on-calls as needed
  • Travel – up to 5%

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with EMV Certifications
  • Two years minimum software testing experience
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Experience maintaining simulators and other testing systems
