Contractor in Charge is seeking organized, self-motivated individuals to fill our part-time and full-time Virtual Office Customer Service Specialist / Remote CSR / In-Bound Call Center Rep positions. Our staff has a high degree of experience in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other home service industries--and offers their knowledge to help increase our client's appointments. As a Virtual Office Customer Service Specialist / Remote CSR, you work from home acting as the voice for our home services clients. You strive to ensure that their customers are being heard and receiving the best service possible. Taking incoming phone calls, you assist with scheduling appointments for service and repairs, answering questions, and making sales. You dispatch calls to our clients' field technicians and keep their customers informed about fees and scheduling requirements. Your active listening skills and empathetic nature allow you to build strong relationships with customers and easily upsell products and services that will improve their home comfort. In this work-at-home position, you feel good about ensuring that our clients and their customers are satisfied and everything runs smoothly.


Both full-time and part-time schedules include multiple shifts seven days a week. Full-time positions work 30-40 hours/week and part-time hours typically range between 15-25 hours/week. Part-time positions can flex as low as 10 hours during slow periods and over 30 during busy periods.


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to handle high call volume
  • Ability to type 30+ WPM
  • Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a door that can be closed
  • Drug-free (including work-at-home positions)

Computer equipment and internet may be required. Any experience with Service Titan, Field Edge, Housecall Pro, or other scheduling software would be a plus! HVAC, plumbing, or electrical home service customer service or dispatch experience would also be helpful but is not required. Do you have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills?
