Job Description:
As a leading driver at Clean Harbors, you will be an essential
member of our team, responsible for operating Class A tankers to
safely transport hazardous materials and wastes, playing a critical
role in our mission of protecting the environment while maintaining
compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This
position demands strict adherence to safety procedures and offers
the opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to high
standards of service quality and environmental preservation. Safely
operate Class A tankers hauling hazardous waste materials. Ensure
compliance with all regulations and documentation for transporting
hazardous materials. Perform daily inspections of vehicle and
equipment maintenance. Report any safety concerns or vehicle issues
promptly to management. Complete necessary paperwork accurately and
efficiently. Participate in safety meetings and trainings. Work
closely with dispatch to ensure timely delivery and pick up of
materials. Proficiency in operating Class A commercial vehicles.
Knowledge of hazardous materials transport and safety regulations.
Ability to maintain accurate logs and records. Strong communication
and coordination skills. Capability to respond effectively in
emergency situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazardous Materials Endorsement.
Clean driving record. DOT physical exam certification.
