Job Description:

Clean Harbors seeks a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver II to join our transportation team. As a key player in maintaining and enhancing our logistics and operations, you will handle hazardous waste transport while adhering to compliance with both company and federal guidelines. This role is essential in supporting Clean Harbors’ mission to provide sustainable environmental services in a safe and responsible manner across North America. The ideal candidate will contribute to the efficiency of our services through dedicated transport of hazardous materials, customer interaction, and adherence to environmental protocols. Operate Class A, B, or C CDL vehicles safely, transporting hazardous wastes and materials, and ensuring proper handling and delivery. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure proper operating conditions of vehicle and on-board equipment. Maintain compliance with DOT and environmental laws and regulations as it pertains to the transport of hazardous wastes. Record and maintain logs of driving times, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with logistics team and customers, ensuring clear, professional interactions. Respond to emergencies or spills as part of the Emergency Response Team when necessary. Skilled in operating Class A, B, or C vehicles Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to handle and manage hazardous materials Proficient in maintaining vehicle maintenance logs Good communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (preferred) DOT Medical Certificate
