space. Job Title: Network Engineer / WAN Engineer Location:
Berkeley Heights, NJ or Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) Employment Type:
Full-time Work Model: 5 days working from office Job Summary: We
are seeking an experienced Network Engineer/WAN Engineer to design,
implement, and maintain network infrastructure in a LAN/WAN
environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for
ensuring optimal network performance, troubleshooting issues,
implementing security measures, and collaborating with
cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure operations. Key
Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design and
deploy network architecture and systems Establish and maintain
network standards and configurations Implement new solutions to
enhance infrastructure flexibility Network Optimization and
Maintenance: Monitor and optimize network performance Troubleshoot
and resolve network outages and issues Perform regular upgrades and
maintenance Security and Compliance: Configure and maintain
firewall settings in accordance with security policies Implement
and enforce network access controls Conduct regular security audits
and updates Technical Operations: Configure routing and switching
equipment Manage hosted IP voice services Provide remote support
for installations and issue resolution Collaboration and Reporting:
Work with network architects on system optimization Coordinate with
project teams and field engineers Report on network status and
performance metrics Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience
in network engineering Expertise in LAN/WAN environments
Proficiency with routing, switching, and firewall configuration
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of
network security best practices Ability to work onsite 5 days per
week Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP,
or equivalent) Experience with SD-WAN technologies Familiarity with
cloud networking solutions
