Job Description:
**Description:** This following description is for an
Engineering & Technology Tech Lead position supporting the AMMM
Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) team. This team is part of
a larger functional DMS organization at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
which is responsible for protecting the Warfighter from
obsolescence threats across all our air system platforms.
Specifically, the AMMM DMS team supports activities at our
Marietta, Georgia location for the C-5 and C-130 programs. This
position will lead the AMMM E&T DMS team throughout all aspects
of DMS execution for their programs including management/watch
items, and redesign projects/studies, thus ensuring that all
obsolescence issues are identified, reported, and associated
solutions created to support production, sustainment, and
development aspects of AMMM program scope. In addition, this DMS
Tech Lead will help to establish best practices at LM Aero with the
other functional DMS Tech Leads according to the SD-22 guidebook
from the Defense Standardization Program Office. Responsibilities:
- Monitor day-to-day tasking of team members and delegate work
across the team to ensure timely customer focus is maintained to
and through program management. - Review and oversee technical work
& process to ensure quality. - Provide on-the-job training for
knowledge, skills, and abilities needed by individual team members.
- Provide regular feedback to DMS team personnel to enable growth
and development. - Work closely with program management and
customer(s) to provide detailed updates and tracking of all DMS
issues for AMMM complete with metrics including monthly reviews to
E&T leadership. - Manage all DMS inventory analyses, and
last-time buys (LTB) through each watch item milestone ensuring the
DMS team maintains on-time delivery behavior and focus with all DMS
process participants and stakeholders. - Manage Financial Exposure
Authorization (FEA) requirements for LTB's and the
tracking/reporting of each towards liquidation as communicated to
program management. - Manage line replaceable unit (LRU)
effectivity with various cognizant engineering teams. - Manage DMS
for the AMMM sustainment programs establishing releaseability of
parts for spares. - Coordinate with E&T leadership and program
management regarding DMS budget and staffing requirements. - Manage
Technical Planning and quoting for all DMS proposals in APTS.
**Basic Qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree from an accredited
college in a related engineering discipline 5+ years of experience
in DMS specific to the following: redesign project management,
parts management, engineering development process, sustainment
spares requirements, technical refresh planning. Understanding of
the DMS process for an Air Vehicle System Systems Engineering
background; ability to effectively manage the full development life
cycle Experience briefing executive leadership and armed forces
customers, domestic and international. **Desired Skills:** C-130J
DMS management experience AMMM engineering development process AMMM
Airworthiness understanding AMMM E&T experience C-130J Military
Flight Release (MFR) process Kit management experience
Understanding of the LM process for FEA liquidation Working with
Suppliers and associated parts management Analyzing parts in SAP
Working with Supply Chain Management Working with and understanding
of Enterprise Demand Supply Control (EDCS) Working with SDRLs,
CDRLs, BOEs, SSOWs **Security Clearance Statement:** This position

Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of
their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a
designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule
will be discussed during the hiring process. **Work Schedules:**
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that
provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range
from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may
be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour
