Since 1979, our client has been the leader of sales and service for
DC power standby solutions. The company supplies and services
batteries, chargers, and uninterruptible power systems to the
industrial, engineering, telecommunication, utility, and commercial
marketplaces of the Gulf States.Position DetailsLocation: Marietta,
GA (20 miles NW of Atlanta, GA) Salary: $24/hr plus bonus plan.
(Average W-2 is $65K-$75K+). During Training you will be at the
higher hourly rate and then after around 60-90 days of training you
move to a lower hourly rate but start receiving significant
incentive-based bonus commission (Typical annual income in this
role is between $65,000-$75,000+) and you significantly boost your
income potential as soon as you transition to the bonus commission
structure. This is not a sales position it is a service position.
The commission bonus structure is based on the work you complete
for clients. Think about it as receiving a portion of every job you
complete. Every install and service call you do for a client you
get paid a commission bonus or a percentage of that job. So, do not
think of it as commission in the traditional sales sense of the
word but more as essentially part company ownership and that you
are rewarded monetarily for the work you complete. The great part
about this is that the more work you complete the more money you
make. So, they are looking for driven candidates, ready to work
hard, and make good money. The commission structure is below on
work completed: In town jobs 2% - 4% of client total bill Out of
town jobs 4%-8% of client total bill Once you complete a job at
$28,000 or more for a client, you will receive an additional 20%
payout. Travel Requirements: Can travel up to 75% for this
position. All travel will be driving your company truck to client
sites. Some travel may be overnight travel for the out of area
locations. If you have overnight travel, it would likely be 1-2

sharingPosition Description As a Telecommunications Installation
Service Technician, you will be responsible for installation and
removal of batteries and chargers/rectifiers for Telecom systems.
You will be required to provide installation and repair of
negatively grounded Battery and Rectifier systems. This includes
running of raceway and cable, installation of lacing for newly ran
or moved cabling, installation of DC Plants and associated battery
systems, inverter and switching systems and running of alarms.
Installation and removal of batteries, remedial, emergency and
battery preventive maintenance will be provided to customers on an
as-needed basis. You will also provide technical support to
customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system
equipment. You will perform other related duties such as processing
customer reports, expenses, time, and other administrative
job-related activities. Responsibilities will include: Maintain a
safe working environment at all times. Report possible concerns to
lead person or supervisor. Remove and replace battery connectors
and contact tips. Install Rectifiers, Chargers, DC Plants,
Inverters, and associated cabling and batteries. Attach leads from
charger to battery posts and perform charger commissioning. Operate
transfer cart to change batteries in and out of equipment. Perform
all tasks with regards to minor repairs to complete replacement of
associated cabling. Report all problems and repairs to Service
Manager. Safely clean up electrolyte spills. Keep entire work area
clean and free of debris. Timely and accurate completion of
paperwork including Field Service Reports, timecards, and expense
reports. Position Requirements Assignments are moderate to
extensively complex in nature, which require judgment, and
initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations.
Experience in DC Plants, Rectifiers, Inverters, Static Switches,
and battery technologies is necessary. A good understanding of
sealed and wet celled battery theory and application is a must.
Knowledge of the Telecom Industry is necessary. Relevant experience
in AT&T/Verizon, working with DC power and electronics (i.e.
BDFBs, DC Power Bays, Rectifiers, Batteries, etc.), as well as
lacing cables and knowledge of Bell Standards. Safety Awareness -
