Responsibilities
The Sr HR Optimization Consultant provides analysis services and project support to business partners through reporting, data analysis and dashboards. Under limited supervision, the analyst functions as a subject matter and technical expert in Workforce systems, data and workflows. As such, the analyst is responsible for assessing customer requirements, capturing relevant data sets, developing visual solutions and analyzing the results of Workforce related information. An outcomes driven position, the analyst role is to provide information that translates into and supports improved operations across the System.
Key functions include:

  • Performs technical assessments and general management of data; including extract, transform and load processing
  • Demonstrates strategic utilization of data; relating data points to operational processes
  • Skilled in business story telling; reducing data overload by exposing only relevant information
  • Functions as subject matter expert in data analysis and data meaning for Human Capital, Productivity and Benchmarking data; works across team boundaries and develops visualizations for Workforce areas
  • Develops customized analytical reports/dashboards to meet requests of external and internal customers
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of reporting and performance metrics that align with business needs
  • Designs queries, reports and dashboards to assist leaders and team members in understanding trended metrics as well as predictive analysis
  • Monitors and evaluates quality and effectiveness of Workforce solutions by creating, maintaining and analyzing key metrics
  • Analyzes, documents and recommends improvements in business and technology workflows
  • Collaborates with System partners to ensure data integrity and develop appropriate auditing tools, reports and analysis methodologies
  • Synthesizes information from various Workforce areas, functions, projects, etc. enabling the Workforce team to make key strategic decisions in a timely manner
  • Serves as an operational on-call / backup for Workforce related systems (staff scheduling, position control, etc)
  • Maintains, enhance, and streamline standardized reporting to ensure clients have timely, relevant, and accessible information and our processes are efficient and legally compliant
  • Attends meetings and daily communication sessions to keep abreast of project objectives, process workflows and progress of business concepts
  • Functions in and accountable for highly sensitive data; maintains absolute confidentiality
    Qualifications
    Required Minimum Education:
    • BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar technical degree or equivalent work experience in directly related, data analytics role.
      Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: n/aRequired Minimum Experience:
      • 6 years of technical development and data analysis
      • 6 years of assessing customer requirements, relevant data capture and technical solution design
        - 6 years working with large, complex data sets - 6 years of technology development project management - 6 years of experience in executive story telling using visualization tools Required Minimum Skills: - Advanced Microsoft Office skills; expert proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point; includes VBA coding proficiency - Advanced SQL / database competencies; advanced proficiency - Advanced visualization tool competencies (Tableau, Qlik, etc)
