Job Description:

The HR Technology Advisor is a global functional leadership position responsible for enhancing, configuring, maintaining, and expanding the functionality of Workday HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Business Processes, and additional Workday functionality. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of Workday configuration, understand all solution components, how they inter-operate to support global business processes and have demonstrated strong project management skills. Will act as the liaison between the vendors, the business, and IT. Will be responsible for successfully delivering complex systems implementations. The team designs and supports Workday system configuration which includes Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Business Process changes, tenant-level settings, and notifications, to meet the expectations of our clients. Executes system enhancements, including new functionality rollouts and modifications of existing functionality and coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including test documentation and post-implementation support. Documents processes via job aides and knowledge-based articles. Ensures that processes and procedures adhere to defined audit and internal controls.

Job Responsibilities
Project Execution - 60%
o Manage new project/enhancement requests from initiation through post-implementation support including configuration
o Collect and translate business process requirements into a functional solution design
o Partner with the integration team to ensure proper integration with functional configuration.
o Configure Workday to meet the functional needs
o Prepare project deliverables including (but not limited to) project plans, process flows, functional requirements, and UAT test plans and test scripts
Application Ownership - 20%
o Apply knowledge of the industry, product, and functional best practices, and related technology trends to guide Fiserv toward appropriate Workday solutions.
o Serve as a catalyst for leveraging system functionality into business process improvements across the global HR functions
o Ensure global alignment and consistency while effectively balancing global, regional, and local needs
o Understand and enforce the overall solution architecture and proactively identify and address interdependencies across applications and workstreams.
o Enhance the value and integrity of data and support company security policies and standards
o Lead the implementation of design changes to streamline HR and payroll processes and create an efficient system environment
o Develop relationships with the HR community and other project stakeholders
Ongoing Support - 20%
o Preserve overall system health; regularly engage with HR Operations and the business to understand operational challenges and aid in root cause problem resolution
o Monitor the health of the module and drive continuous process improvements leveraging a clear understanding of local requirements (i.e. regulatory changes) and how they would impact the system
o Monitor Workday community for reported bugs, fixes, and new enhancements relative to assigned modules

Job Requirements
o Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
o 5+ years implementation and support experience with Workday and/or other related HR systems
o Experience in implementing and configuring at least three of the following Workday applications; Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, and Performance Management on a global scale.
o Well-developed leadership and project management capabilities with demonstrated success completing multiple cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural projects.
o Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines; must be able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. --- Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem-solving, root cause analysis, and associated solution implementation. --- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. --- Ability to work and/or lead effectively on virtual teams training sessions.
o Ability to breakdown high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
o Ability to drive and challenge the business on their assumptions
o Track record of being the go-to person for designing functional and technical system solutions to solve business problems
o Proven ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity and to manage conflict
o Self-starter with proven ability to anticipate problems and take proactive, decisive action, giving regard to the impact on the system, business needs, and user population
o Solid understanding of software lifecycle development (SDLC) methodologies
o Familiar with data privacy and other regulatory requirements
