Job Description Urban Renewal Consignment in Marietta, GA is looking for a retail sales associate to join our team. We are located at 800 Whitlock Ave Nw Suite 111. The Urban Renewal Consignment Associate provides an exceptional customer service, consignment and selling experience that promotes the products in our store and supports our brand. Consignment Associates must demonstrate a knowledge of brands, selling competence, styling expertise and possess a love of fashion. Associates are accountable for achieving productivity goals by using product knowledge to determine pricing for consignment goods. Training is provided. Associates are accountable for providing excellent customer service, meeting our customers fashion needs as well as general store duties. REQUIREMENTS: Possess a strong drive, ambition, and passion for consignment, overall sales achievement and provide an exceptional customer experience Communicate professionally in a timely manner with consignors, customers, and teammates Learn and utilize UR---s method of evaluating consignment goods including the list of brands UR does not consign Learn and use consignment software to create customer accounts and price /tag consignment items Maximize individual performance by accepting direction, coaching and feedback Participate in learning opportunities and store meetings Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain the selling floor Market UR---s goods on Instagram & Facebook social media platforms PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Sales and Service: Demonstrate a high level of selling and customer service skills to achieve store goals Use customer service skills to reinforce the brand vision. Use merchandising skills to create relevant, inspirational displays Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and/or handle tasks simultaneously Create appealling social media posts Building Relationships: Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business Ensure exceptional selling interactions that guarantee meaningful experiences to better build store and community relationships Fashion Awareness: Maintain professional appearance that reflects the brand image Aware of fashion trends Be knowledgeable about all new arrivals Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs QUALIFICATIONS: High School Degree Ability to communicate professionally with tact in both oral and written communication Specialty retailing experience preferred Consignment experience is a plus but not mandatory Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Requires ability to move about in the store including standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, carrying, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching out with the body, arms, or legs, pulling and lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
