Job Details - Position: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse - Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 (Buckhead area) — ideal for Atlanta healthcare and nursing jobs in Georgia - Assignment Type: Travel / Contract (Travel nursing job) - Start Date: March 30, 2026 - End Date: June 27, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) - Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed) - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,690–$1,780 - Openings: 1 Job Requirements / Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Endoscopy RN, GI Lab nurse, or comparable procedural nursing specialty (gastroenterology or pulmonology) - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Georgia or compact state license accepted - Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required) - Experience with endoscopic procedures: colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopies preferred - Proficiency with pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery care - Comfortable working full-time 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday; must start on March 30, 2026 and complete the full 13-week assignment - No local candidates within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and pulmonary procedures in the GI Lab and Bronchoscopy suite - Assist physicians (gastroenterologists and pulmonologists) during procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies - Perform pre-procedure assessments, patient education, and informed consent support - Monitor patient status intra-procedure, recognize clinical changes, and respond to emergencies using ACLS/BLS protocols - Provide safe, efficient post-procedure recovery and discharge instructions - Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and follow facility policies and infection control standards - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote a positive patient experience and uphold professional nursing standards Why Atlanta’s 30342 Zip Code?
