Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Athens, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 years License: Required to work as an RN in TN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: BLS and ACLS certifications Critical thinking skills Description: Urgent backfill needed with an immediate start. The facility offers a full range of services to meet the healthcare needs of community members. The ICU unit provides emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services through its acute care facility. The ICU is expected to soon open a 10-bed unit. Current patient ratios are 2-3:1. The equipment includes ventilators, bipaps, drips, glucometers, and more. The Electronic Health Record system used is Medhost. The patient population consists of adults and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses and treatments include DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical cases, electrolyte imbalances, overdose, and psychiatric issues. Candidates must get along with others as the team operates in a supportive family-like environment.
