Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based
Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available in Powder
Springs, GA, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities.
This contract-to-hire role provides the chance to work in an
educational setting, supporting students' development and helping
them overcome physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges that
impact their learning experience. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
evaluations and assessments to determine students occupational
therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
tailored to each student's requirements. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals within
the educational environment. Monitor and document student progress,
adjusting interventions as necessary. Provide direct therapy
services to students during school hours until the end of the
school year (EOSY). Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist
with experience in school-based settings. Familiarity with
educational therapies and understanding of school environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively
with students and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to manage
caseload and maintain accurate documentation. Location: Position is
based in Powder Springs, Georgia. Benefits: Flexible scheduling
