Practice Provider (APP), Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse
Practitioner (NP), plays a vital role in delivering high-quality,
patient-centered care within our Primary Medical Group Operating as
part of a collaborative team that includes Family Practice and/or
Internal Medicine Physicians, and clinic staff, the APP supports a
comprehensive, coordinated care model to achieve optimal patient
outcomes The APP primarily manages patient populations in
collaboration with primary care physicians, providing both chronic
and acute care services in outpatient settings, with potential
inpatient duties based on group needs This position acts as an
extension of the primary care physician, emphasizing evidence-based
practices and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals
Requirements: Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage acute and
chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, kidney
disease, minor injuries, infections, and exacerbations of chronic
illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work,
x-rays, and EKGs Prescribe medications and treatments to address
patient conditions effectively Educate patients on their medical
conditions, treatment plans, and expected outcomes to promote
engagement and informed decision-making Collaborate within a
multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and
organizational objectives Participate in limited on-call duties,
primarily phone-based Qualifications and Requirements Current BLS
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program Current licensure and
prescriptive authority through the Georgia Board (or equivalent
state board, adjustable based on location) Skills and Abilities
Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills for diverse
patient needs Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic
tests Excellent communication skills for patient education and team
collaboration Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and
complex problem-solving Physical capabilities including lifting up
to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling heavy objects with up to 50 pounds of
force, sitting/standing for extended periods, and using fine motor
skills for equipment operation Capacity to receive and comprehend
verbal/written instructions Willingness to travel to multiple
locations as needed Compensation and Benefits This role offers
competitive earning potential with a base salary and lucrative
bonus structure, where APPs average total cash compensation of
