Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff Now Hiring: Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Location: Marietta, Georgia Shift: Night Shifts Available Position: Full-Time Pay Rate: $33 – $59/hour (based on experience) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will provide specialized, high-acuity care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and those with critical cardiovascular conditions. Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac and post-operative cardiovascular patients. - Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs. - Manage ventilators, IV drips, and advanced cardiac support equipment. - Administer medications, including vasoactive and antiarrhythmic infusions. - Assist with post-operative care for open-heart and vascular surgery patients. - Monitor chest tubes, arterial lines, and central lines. - Respond to emergencies, including codes and rapid response situations. - Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams. - Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
