Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
provide services within a K-12 school setting located in
Huntersville, NC. The position focuses on supporting elementary or
pre-K students with speech and language needs. The contract runs
through May 20th, 2026, with the possibility to start as soon as
possible. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct speech and language
evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for assigned
students. - Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. - Maintain
accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services.
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultative support as
needed. - Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
and standards pertaining to speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications: - Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) license is required. - Experience providing services in
school-based settings preferred. - Skills may include working with
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and holding Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) credentials. - Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students,
staff, and families. Job Details: - Location: Huntersville, NC -
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week - Age Group:
Elementary or Pre-K students - Contract Type: School Year (CSY)
