The unit serves an adult and older adult population. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:5. Experience with trauma patients, Heparin drips, and all acute medications is necessary. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is required. Specialty equipment includes gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment.
