Occupational Therapist Location: Kennesaw, GA Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $2,154 to $2,220 per week Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Occupational Therapist - School - (OT - School) StartDate: 2/9/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2154.00 - $2220.00 AMN is seeking a passionate and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a Kennesaw-area school district team for the remainder of the school year. You’ll partner with students from Pre-K through 12th grade to support their development across motor, sensory, and functional skills—with the stability of a full-time schedule and the camaraderie of a supportive district environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations to identify strengths and needs in fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills. • Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s IEP/504 goals. [us.trabajo.org], • Deliver OT services through one-on-one sessions and group interventions, adapting strategies for different age groups and classroom environments. • Document progress meticulously and prepare reports for IEP reviews, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators. • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary meetings, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives (e.g., PBIS, MTSS, UDL), integrating OT perspectives into educational programming. • Provide consultative support to classroom teachers, staff, and families to embed therapeutic strategies into daily routines. • Requirements • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. • Active Occupational Therapy licensure in Georgia. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred. • Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative, family-centered care.
