Job Description Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse
(RN) PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a nursing job in Marietta,
Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU -
Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 -
Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours -
Employment Type: Staff Charge Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit
(PCU) Full-Time | Night Shift Key Responsibilities: - Lead and
oversee unit operations during assigned night shifts to ensure
safe, high-quality patient care - Perform charge nurse duties
including patient assignments, staffing coordination, and unit
workflow - Provide direct patient care with a modified assignment
as needed - Conduct daily patient rounds to assess quality, safety,
and appropriateness of care - Support and oversee the nursing
process using evidence-based practice - Collaborate with physicians
and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes - Serve as
a clinical resource, mentor, and role model for nursing staff -
Support staffing needs, resource utilization, and survey readiness
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and compliance
standards Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: - Active RN license
(State or Compact) - Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) -
Minimum 1 year of RN experience (2 years preferred) - Prior relief
charge or leadership experience preferred - Experience in
progressive care, telemetry, or step-down units preferred - BLS
required; ACLS required or obtainable upon hire - Strong clinical
judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills - Excellent
communication, delegation, and team leadership skills - Ability to
work full-time night shifts in an acute care environment
