We leverage the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient
care. Each nurse is accountable for the care provided to their
assigned patients, ensuring a high standard of professionalism.
Additionally, we assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered
by fellow caregivers and coordinate patient care in collaboration
with various departments. Upholding patient rights and maintaining
confidentiality of patient information are paramount. All duties
are performed in alignment with our mission, values, and service
standards. Position Overview: Our Cath Lab is a dynamic and
fast-paced environment dedicated to serving cardiovascular
patients. This unit specializes in a variety of cardiac-related
diagnoses and works closely with cardiovascular physicians and
their clinics to carry out both routine and emergency procedures.
Requires strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making
abilities. Offers numerous educational opportunities due to the
diverse nature of the unit. Features 3 procedural rooms and a team
of 3 staff members per team. Provides 24/7 leadership support.
Involves daily collaboration with ancillary departments. On-call
duties are required with a 30-minute response time. Scheduled
shifts consist of 4 ten-hour days from 0645 to 1715, plus
after-hours on-call responsibilities. Additional Physical
Requirements: This position necessitates the ability to regularly
push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs. Prolonged standing and
walking are essential during each shift, along with the capacity to
grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job
responsibilities. Qualifications: Education: Must be a graduate of
an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure:
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in
the hiring state or compact licensure where nursing duties are
performed, adhering to all state board of nursing requirements. Why
