Job Description Job Description Emergency Medicine - Physician Opportunity in Atlanta, GA This role is for a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician focused on wound care, delivering bedside treatment in skilled nursing and long-term acute care facilities across various locations. The position prioritizes independence and work-life balance, with no night shifts, weekend duties, or on-call responsibilities. It includes paid training and a fellowship in wound management. Physicians will travel to different healthcare facilities each day, utilize specialized wound-specific electronic medical records (EMRs), and enjoy comprehensive benefits along with malpractice insurance. No Night Shifts, No On-Call Duties, No Weekend Responsibilities Become proficient in wound management by learning from experienced, certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Leverage advanced clinical technologies and the latest wound care techniques. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We offer physician-level training in wound management and a fellowship to equip you with the necessary skills for clinical excellence. Full-time W2 physicians typically earn around $300,000 annually, in addition to benefits. Enjoy the flexibility and independence in your work schedule, with full-time positions averaging a 45-hour work week. Paid training is included. Qualifications: Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice. A minimum commitment of three weekdays per week is required. Practice Details: Full-time hours are Monday to Friday (7 AM - 4 PM), with part-time options available. No on-call or weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians provide contemporary wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Weekly wound rounds are conducted at each facility. The part-time role requires a minimum of three days per week, while full-time roles range from four to five days per week. This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40 to 60-mile radius of their practice location. Physicians typically visit 2-3 facilities daily, treating approximately 20-30 patients each day. Clinical documentation occurs in real-time during rounds using our proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a six-month wound care fellowship. This position is offered as a W2 employment contract (work visa sponsorship is not available).
