Job Description Job Description Full-Time Night Shift LPN - Rehabilitation The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers patient care under the guidance of registered nurses or authorized prescribers at our rehabilitation facility. Key responsibilities encompass coordinating patient care, upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and executing physical tasks such as lifting and repositioning patients. Candidates must possess an accredited nursing education, a valid LPN license, Basic Life Support certification, and, if applicable, LPN-IV certification within three months of employment. Utilizing the nursing process, the LPN provides care under the supervision of licensed professionals authorized to prescribe medications and treatments, or under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN maintains professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients and collaborates with various departments to ensure comprehensive patient care while safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. Position Overview: Rehabilitation Facility 10114 Kennerly Rd Saint Louis, Missouri 63128 Modern Facility! Opportunities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Full-time, 36 hours per week Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Eligible for Sign-On Bonus $2,000 - No contractual obligation! Educational Requirements : Must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Licensure Requirements : It is the candidate's responsibility to secure and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri, adhering to all State Board of Nursing regulations. Physical Demands : Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of the shift; requires considerable bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and turn patients with assistance; must be able to push, pull, or grip up to 50 pounds. Certifications : Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
