Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Vascular Tech - IR Tech Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM • On-call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays • Function under direction of clinical coordinator and/or department manager • Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing all exams according to department procedures • Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative • Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures • Perform procedures in both IR and vascular hybrid interventional procedural settings • Must have competency in all aspects of diagnostic radiology procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors and radiation protection • Required certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography) or CVRN-LVL 3 (CV Cath Lab/Int IF RCIS-Cert), BLS (Basic Life Support) • Minimum 1 year of experience preferred • High School Diploma or GED or Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required • Must understand anatomy and pathology and how they affect procedure quality • Able to function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation and competency demonstration • Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language Facility: This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system that provides advanced interventional radiology and vascular services.
