ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Marietta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR Job Details: • Work 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift including 2 late shifts • Day shift schedule with call coverage per unit requirements • CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required • Must have Certified Surgical Tech certification or Licensed Practical Nurse certification preferred, or Tech in Surgery certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • National certification required upon hire • Function under direction of registered professional nurse in moderate to high acuity surgical cases • Prepare operative suite and surgical field while maintaining sterile field and patient safety • Gather required instruments and supplies, serve as surgical assistant as needed • Anticipate surgeon and healthcare team needs throughout procedures • Perform surgical counts with circulator and participate in procedure pause/time-out • Scrub, gown, and glove; assist with gowning and gloving surgeon and assistants • Pass instruments during procedures while maintaining organized back table and operative field • Maintain highest standard of sterile technique and asepsis principles • Prepare sterile dressings and participate in post-procedure pause • Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization • Assist with room turnover, stocking, and preparation for future cases • Provide age-appropriate and culturally aware patient care • Complete all initial and annual competencies, mandatory education requirements • Maintain 20 hours of continuing education per evaluation period • Ability to mentor, precept, or train students and new employees Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive surgical services department with specialized cardiovascular operating rooms.
