Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Cat Scan Tech - Cat Scan Tech Job Details: • Work night shifts Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Weekend and holiday coverage per unit requirements • Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography • Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required • Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred • Perform CT scans and imaging procedures according to department protocols • Verify proper physician orders and obtain complete clinical history • Administer contrast media following established procedures • Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results • Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality control tests • Provide patient care including positioning, venipuncture, and comfort measures • Operate power injection equipment and maintain sterile technique • Transport patients and assist with positioning on procedure tables • Maintain productivity rates equal to co-workers • Take call when necessary • Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently under pressure in fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented with capacity to multitask effectively Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department with advanced CT imaging capabilities and 24/7 emergency services.
