Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Care Inpatient Job Details: • Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Every other weekend schedule required • Work 2 major and 2 minor holidays • Must have Heparin IV administration experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License • Associate's degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing required • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred • Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school • Direct patient care experience preferred • Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews • Complete timely documentation and maintain respectful clinical environment • Must be able to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills necessary Facility: This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional nursing excellence.
