Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/10/2026 - Duration: Ongoing - 35 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care (Med-Surg) Marietta, GA Full-Time | Night Shift ? 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Acute Care / Med-Surg team on full-time night shifts. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments, value teamwork, and are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse adult population. As a Med-Surg RN, you’ll play a vital role in patient recovery, safety, and outcomes—serving as both a clinical expert and patient advocate. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Excellence - Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care using the full nursing process. - Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition across a variety of medical and post-surgical diagnoses. - Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and effectively. Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to coordinate care plans. - Promote clear communication, compassionate interactions, and patient advocacy at all times. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Quality, Safety & Outcomes - Practice in alignment with clinical standards, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines. - Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities. - Support a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Professional Growth - Maintain licensure and certifications; complete mandatory and ongoing education. - Stay current with best practices, research, and clinical guidelines in Med-Surg nursing. - Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and supporting team success. Education Required: - Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing Preferred: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure & Certifications (All required upon hire unless otherwise stated) - Active RN License (Single State or Multi-State Compact) - BLS (American Heart Association) - National specialty certification – Preferred Skills & Attributes - Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acute care environment - Strong time management and organizational skills - Comfort with clinical technology and electronic documentation - Calm, composed response to urgent and emergent situations ?
