Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marietta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care Inpatient /n/n Job Details: /n • Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM /n• Every other weekend schedule required /n• Work 2 major and 2 minor holidays /n• Must have heparin IV administration experience /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, RN License /n• Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing required /n• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred /n• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school /n• Direct patient care experience preferred /n• Must have Basic Life Support certification /n• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation /n• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to diverse populations /n• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care /n• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient teaching /n• Complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education /n• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively /n• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required /n• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and shared governance models.
