Job Summary – Registered Nurse (Acute Care) The Acute Care
Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to
hospitalized patients with acute medical and surgical conditions.
The RN performs detailed assessments, develops and implements
individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments,
and closely monitors patient responses to care. Working
collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, the
Acute Care RN ensures safe, effective, and patient-centered care
while promoting recovery, preventing complications, and maintaining
compliance with clinical standards and hospital policies. Key
Responsibilities – Registered Nurse (Acute Care) - Perform
comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments for
acute medical and surgical patients - Develop, implement, and
evaluate individualized nursing care plans - Administer
medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in
accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols - Monitor
vital signs, lab results, and patient responses to treatments;
promptly identify and report changes in condition - Provide pre-
and post-operative nursing care as applicable Comprehensive
