Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Marietta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - OR Inpatient /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4-10 hour day shifts /n• 30 minutes call back requirement with on-call per unit requirement /n• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation /n• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapting to population specific characteristics /n• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods /n• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care /n• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in fiscally responsible manner /n• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education /n• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff /n• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research and performance improvement activities /n• Plan for patient care across the care continuum while providing direct patient care /n• Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources /n• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification /n• Associates degree in nursing or diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred /n• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school /n• Direct patient care experience preferred /n• Must possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and time management skills /n• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional development.
