Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Marietta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,040 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) Experience: Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Heparin IV administration experience - Every other weekend and two major, two minor holidays required Description: The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers. They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. The practice is supported through a shared governance model. Performs assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation in clinical care using evidence-based practice. Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to population-specific characteristics. Partners with patients and significant others using appropriate methods for setting and purpose. Practices using current clinical practice standards. Teamwork and collaboration are essential. Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care. Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration by promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. Participates in performance improvement activities, supporting safe, quality patient care. Initiates and leads activities that promote interdisciplinary processes and supports shared governance at all levels. Professional development is crucial. Completes all initial and ongoing competency assessments and required education. Serves as a preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and staff to ensure a qualified workforce. Promotes evidence-based practice and nursing research. Participates in data collection and poses relevant clinical questions to advanced evidence-based practice. Consults experts and uses appropriate resources to address practice questions. Proactively plans for the care of patients across the continuum. Participates in developing protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers and other health care team members. Supports the efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
