Physical Therapist Location: Marietta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,040 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist - Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation Job Specialty: Therapeutic Treatment Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 8 AM Start) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of Pediatric experience License: Physical Therapy License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Georgia Physical Therapy License - Blue/Teal Scrubs required Job Description: - Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformities. - Implement and adjust the physical therapy treatment plan with patient/family input. - Provide ongoing patient/family education and training and offer discharge instructions with referrals as appropriate. - Act as a resource for staff, families, and physicians about rehabilitation services and equipment. - Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, plan of care, goals, and discharge plans. - Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and any educational or discharge-related activities according to guidelines. - Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and punctuality. - Engage effectively in verbal and written communication with team members. - Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities. - Use materials and equipment safely and cost-effectively. - Foster a positive environment for coworkers and patients and encourage teamwork. - Participate in professional development, and complete mandatory education and competencies.
