Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 Start Date: 07/28/2025 Contract Length: 16 Weeks Shift: 3x12 Days (06:30 – 19:00) Block Scheduling: Yes Unit Information - Unit: Operating Room – General OR (Unit 70100) - Patient Ratio: 1:1 - Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics - Charting: Epic - Scrub Color: Not specified – follow facility guidelines Required Experience and Certifications - Minimum Experience: 3 years of Operating Room experience (required before traveling) - HARD STOP: Do not submit candidates with less than 3 years of OR experience. - Prior travel experience required. - Certifications: BLS (AHA) Required Surgical Experience (HARD STOP): Candidates must have documented experience in: - Neurology: ALIF, Craniotomy, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, XLIF - General Surgery: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection, Hernia Repair, Thyroidectomy, Whipple - Orthopedics: Arthroscopy, Fracture Repair, Total Joint Replacement - Gynecology: Hysterectomies, Anterior/Posterior Repair, Bilateral Tubal Ligation, Laparoscopic GYN Procedures - Transplant: Heart, Kidney, Liver, Pancreas, Organ Donation Candidates lacking experience in General, Neuro, Ortho, or Transplant will not be considered.
