• Employment Type: TravelSpecial Procedures Technology - Vascular Opportunity in Marietta, GeorgiaWe are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist specializing in Vascular procedures to join our team at a prestigious medical center in Marietta, Georgia. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.Primary Responsibilities:- Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiology procedures with a focus on vascular imaging- Ensure proper patient positioning and apply appropriate exposure factors- Implement radiation protection measures for patient and staff safety- Demonstrate proficiency in anatomy and pathology as they relate to procedure quality- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members- Function independently during procedures after completing orientation and demonstrating competencyQualifications:- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology, or equivalent health science program- ARRT certification in Radiography or Cardiovascular Interventional (RCIS certification for Cath Lab/Interventional)- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification- Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology or vascular procedures- Competency in all aspects of diagnostic radiology procedures- Strong understanding of anatomy and pathology- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English- Ability to adapt to new environments and work independentlyAdditional Information:- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM- On-call coverage required for nights, weekends, and holidays- Non-billable orientation hours (24.0 hours)- Maximum of 3 days RTO allowedThis position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a challenging and rewarding environment.
