Job Title: Charge Registered Nurse - Acute Pulmonary Care UnitWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellstar Health System. As a Charge Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the Acute Pulmonary Care Unit on an assigned shift to ensure successful and safe delivery of care.Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift to ensure successful and safe delivery of care.
• Practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model.
• Participate in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
• Make patient assignments, considering new graduates, float, and type of patient.
• Round with physicians/surgeons and assign surgery beds in conjunction with the surgery schedule.
• Consult with the supervisor nursing administration on bed flow and availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing as an Associate Degree/Diploma Nurse or Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
