Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Marietta, Georgia.Job Description & Requirements

  • Monitor patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor
  • Provide information, guidance and hands-on clinical care to expectant parents.
  • Monitor fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
  • Provide guidance to new parents on all aspects of recovery and infant care.
  • If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
  • Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
  • Availability to work the facility's required schedule.
  • Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
  • Also referred to as: Labor and Delivery registered nurse, obstetrical nurse, OB nurse.Job Requirements
    • 1+ year of experience as a L&D nurse
    • Graduate from an accredited nursing school
    • Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
