• Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care - Nights **Job Specialty:** RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night, 7p-7a, every other weekend, and 2 major and 2 minor holidays **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Neuro ICU experience required, experience with direct patient care preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) **Must-Have:** Neuro ICU experience **Job Description:** - Be an active member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers. - Provide high-quality, individualized, and safe patient care. - Practice within a clinical environment supported by a shared governance model. - Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, and plan and evaluate care delivery. - Deliver relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting services to meet diverse cultural needs. - Partner with patients and significant others utilizing appropriate communication methods for patient updates and care coordination. - Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, ensuring timely and respectful communication among team members. - Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and contribute to recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members. - Participate and support performance improvement activities, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. - Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other professional nurses, ensuring a qualified nursing workforce. - Uphold healthcare system policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, including patient safety goals. - Participate in data collection, pose clinical questions to advance evidence-based practice, and consult with appropriate experts. - Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum, collaborating with care managers and healthcare team members. - Develop protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes. - Optimize the use of human and material resources efficiently.25633847EXPTEMPJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
