Responsibilities Wellstar Paulding in Hiram, Georgia is seeking a PRN Radiation Therapist. The PRN Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department applies ionizing radiation to a diverse population of patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. They must be capable of operating radiation-producing equipment utilizing radiation safety measures and be able to perform a series of complex and precise technical procedures. Qualifications Required Minimum Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology School (JRCERT) and a licensed RT-Therapist (RTT). Required Minimum Certification: Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy RT(T)-ARRT. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Required Minimum Experience: One year of experience in Radiation Therapy. Required Minimum Skills: Demonstrates ability to treat/simulate patients. Required Minimum Coverage: Provides WellStar Radiation sites with the availability to work two 8-hour shifts per month by the 15th of each month prior.
