We are proud to have become a shining example of what's possible when the brightest professionals dedicate themselves to making a difference in the healthcare industry, and in people's livesResponsibilitiesThe Talk With Me Baby Nurse Navigator, reports to Program Manager, and is responsible for the ongoing implementation and contributing to the continuous improvement of the initiative throughout Pediatric and OBGYNoffices affiliated with Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and babies within KH. The Nurse Navigator, TWMB, is the lead trainer and implementation manager of the TWMB program across Pediatric, OBGYN, and Mother Baby services -NICU hospital & outpatient offices. This role will work with the TWMB team, appropriate KH, WMG Pediatric and OBGYN team members to ensure successful launch, implementation, and growth of the TWMB program. This role will work closely with the training and education team as well as closely with individual office and hospital care teams to educate and train select team members on the Talk with me Baby program. The Nurse Navigator's sole responsibility is the training, support and implementation of this program and therefore is expected to become a subject matter expert on TWMB, be able to model, train, assist with questions and challenges of program implementation. The Nurse Navigator will also work closely in collaboration with the TWMB coalition with any necessary program updates or changes.Hours: - Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PMQualificationsRequired Minimum Education: Current BSN from an accredited school of nursing requiredRequired Minimum Licensure/Certification: RN Licensed in Georgia, Current Basic Life SupportRequired Minimum Experience:--- 3 years or more of pediatric and/or maternal RN experience in an acute, physician or community clinic setting.--- Interest and/or experience in parent/caregiver education.--- Interest in early language development from prenatal to 3 years of age.Preferred Experience:--- Public health nursing experience and/or Masters of Public Health.--- Clinical supervision experience.--- Teaching/coaching experience with professional and support staff and/or parents/families in groups and one on one.--- Clinical/social/public research experience, including data collection, analysis and reporting.Required Minimum Skills: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS teams and other virtual meeting platforms, and learning management systems.We'd like to invite you on a career journey like no other!
